Collections
The butterflies collection of the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle offers a unique access to butterfly diversity. They constitute the basis of our analyses of phenotypic variation and disparity at the macro-evolutionary scales.
The collection of Morpho
It contains approximately 8000 specimens, covering all 30 species and most subspecies. Curated and enriched over the years by Patrick Blandin, it is one of the largest and most beautiful public collections of Morpho worldwide. We have a pictures database that allows access to standardized images of individuals from both dorsal and ventral sides.

À propos de nous
Collections provide an exceptional sampling of phenotypic disparity, allowing the study of various evolutionary phenomena, like mimicry (here in Charaxes butterflies).
